Jesus himself told us that the entire Bible is about Him in Luke 24:25-27 when it says..."He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?” And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself." He does not say the New Testament is the story of me, but that the whole Bible is, so when we read stories in the Old Testament, He is in there. The Bible points to Jesus...all of it. As we continue our sermon series entitled Jesus BC, we learn more and more about how the Bible is revealing the heart of the Father and revealing Jesus to us in a full and meaningful way. As we learn about God, we are called to act on our beliefs. How can we say the heart of the Father is to help others, and then not be helping others ourselves. The time has come for the Christian community to stop focusing on what divides us and start focusing on God and doing His bidding in this broken and troubled world. We do this not to increase the size of our church, but to increase the love of Jesus in this world. Join us as we strive to reach out in meaningful ways and help those who God has called us to help...see you on Sunday!
We love our community. River of Hope Church enjoys participating in and organizing events in the community .
